In a sheltered location in the harbor of Glengariff, Garinish Island is home to a breathtaking variety of plants. The Mediterranean garden invites you to stroll across the island. At the entrance there is a tea room where you can sit by the water and strengthen yourself. After a short hike, these three ruins pile up. It is on the edge of the 100m cliffs. There is one of the highest surviving medieval walls in Ireland.
